Jambeera Pinda Sweda, also known as Naranga Kizhi, is a specialized fomentation therapy using boluses made primarily of chopped Jambeera (wild lemon/citrus), garlic, rock salt, and herbal powders fried in medicated oil.

Clinical Procedure
1. Preparation (Purvakarma)
- • Chopped lemon pieces are fried with garlic, grated coconut, rock salt, and specific herbal powders in neem or castor oil, then tied into cloth boluses (Kizhi).
2. Main Action (Pradhana Karma)
The boluses are continuously heated in warm oil and pounded/rubbed firmly over the affected joints and muscles.
3. Post-Therapy (Paschatkarma)
- • The body is wiped clean of the oil and lemon juices.
- • Patient rests and bathes in warm water.
