Dietary Protocol
Pachana (Toxin Digestion)
in Bengaluru
Pachana is a critical preparatory therapy aimed at digesting and neutralizing Ama (metabolic toxins) circulating in the body. While Deepana kindles the digestive fire, Pachana directly targets and "cooks" the unripe, sticky toxins so they can be easily expelled.
Clinical Benefits
- Neutralizes and metabolizes systemic toxins (Ama)
- Clears a thickly coated tongue and foul breath
- Relieves generalized body ache and morning stiffness
- Unblocks micro-channels (Srotas) for better nutrient delivery
Clinical Procedure
1. Preparation (Purvakarma)
- • Often performed simultaneously with or immediately following Deepana.
2. Main Action (Pradhana Karma)
Administration of bitter and pungent herbs (like Musta, Guduchi, or specific Kashayams) and drinking warm medicated water (e.g., Shadanga Paniya) to break down metabolic waste.
3. Post-Therapy (Paschatkarma)
- • Observation of signs of Ama digestion: clean tongue, lightness in the body, and clear urine.
Patient FAQs
