Sankara Sweda is essentially synonymous with Pinda Sweda. It involves the use of a bolus (cloth bag) filled with a mixture (Sankara) of medicinal herbs, powders, or grains, which is heated and applied to the body to induce localized sweating.

Clinical Procedure

1. Preparation (Purvakarma)

3. Post-Therapy (Paschatkarma)

  • The area is wiped clean and protected from cold air.
