Sarvangadhara (Full Body Pouring Therapy)
in Bengaluru

Sarvangadhara is a broad classification for any therapy where a continuous stream of medicinal liquid is poured over the entire body (Sarvanga). Depending on the liquid used—oil, milk, decoction, or buttermilk—it can treat a wide array of severe neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Clinical Benefits

  • Restores systemic balance across all bodily tissues (Dhatus)
  • Highly effective for neuro-muscular rehabilitation and paralysis
  • Deeply relaxes the autonomic nervous system
  • Improves peripheral circulation and reduces systemic inflammation

Clinical Procedure

1. Preparation (Purvakarma)

  • The specific liquid is chosen based on Dosha assessment and prepared in large quantities.

2. Main Action (Pradhana Karma)

Two to four therapists simultaneously pour the warm liquid from specific heights over all limbs and the torso, ensuring a uniform temperature is maintained.

3. Post-Therapy (Paschatkarma)

  • The body is wiped clean.
  • Patient rests in a draft-free room before taking a bath.
