Vrishya Basti is a specialized enema designed specifically to treat sexual dysfunction, infertility, and low libido. The colon is anatomically close to the reproductive organs, and delivering aphrodisiac herbs rectally ensures rapid absorption and direct action on the pelvic region.

Clinical Benefits

  • Significantly increases sperm count and motility (Oligoasthenozoospermia)
  • Highly effective for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation
  • Strengthens the female reproductive system and improves egg quality
  • Boosts overall vitality, stamina, and libido

Clinical Procedure

1. Preparation (Purvakarma)

  • Vajikarana (aphrodisiac) herbs like Ashwagandha, Kapikacchu (Mucuna), and Shatavari are boiled with milk, ghee, and honey.

2. Main Action (Pradhana Karma)

Administered rectally. The nourishing properties are absorbed directly into the pelvic blood circulation.

3. Post-Therapy (Paschatkarma)

  • Patient rests. A highly nourishing diet is recommended during the course.

Patient FAQs

How does an enema treat infertility?

In Ayurveda, the reproductive tissue (Shukra Dhatu) is governed by Apana Vata, which resides in the colon. By treating the colon with specific fertility-boosting herbs, we correct the root energy governing the reproductive organs directly.
